Bass River School, about 1920-21
The old school house was located near St. Mark's Presbyterian Church Hall where there was a small hockey rink enjoyed by many generations attending regular skating parties and playing hockey every chance we got! The rink was moved to the present location at Arthur L. Manning Sports Complex, where there is also a small softball field, home to 8 softball teams in 2007.
